I had the privilege of meeting the Most Rev Dr Mouneer Hanna Anis yesterday. He's the Anglican President Bishop of Jerusalem & the Middle East and Bishop in Egypt with North Africa and the Horn of Africa.
Tomorrow morning (Jan 19th) at 8.10am (AEDT) he's going to give a live TV interview on the Arab Spring on ABC One and ABC 24 here in Australia.
Will be interesting to hear his perspective on it all.
Thoughts on Theology-in-Practice for Anglicans and Episcopalians - plus some other stuff.
It was interesting to see what the subtitles suggested the key points were. eg : 'history shows islamic law compatible with Christian faith' which, as far as I can see was quite different to what he said.

ReplyDeleteHave you got a link to the interview? It wasn't at a good time for us to view it live, and the diocese would like to publicise it, but we can't find a link to it.
