Anglicans and Arabs on TV

I had the privilege of meeting the Most Rev Dr Mouneer Hanna Anis yesterday. He's the Anglican President Bishop of Jerusalem & the Middle East and Bishop in Egypt with North Africa and the Horn of Africa.

Tomorrow morning (Jan 19th) at 8.10am (AEDT) he's going to give a live TV interview on the Arab Spring on ABC One and ABC 24 here in Australia.

Will be interesting to hear his perspective on it all.

  1. It was interesting to see what the subtitles suggested the key points were. eg : 'history shows islamic law compatible with Christian faith' which, as far as I can see was quite different to what he said.

  2. Yes - I agree. I had exactly the same thought while I was watching.

  3. Have you got a link to the interview? It wasn't at a good time for us to view it live, and the diocese would like to publicise it, but we can't find a link to it.

  4. Sorry - I don't know where to find one if it's not on the ABC website (www.abc.net.au). You could always contact the ABC directly and ask them about it.
